Prerequisite: Accounting 1 & 2

Students learn more in-depth accounting procedures for petty cash, change funds, uncollectible accounts, accruals, notes, inventory, depreciation, and stocks as a closely-held merchandising corporation is studied.  The computer is used extensively.  Students are highly skilled and employable.  A lab fee is charged to help defray the cost of the consumable workbook.   FBLA membership is strongly encouraged and students can compete in accounting competitions.  Accounting IV second semester is recommended to complete a full-year study.
